Just gonna blog

I decided today that I want to start a blog. I believe it is for my benefit as well as yours.

I have a tendency to stress out about writing, but I'm making an effort to be relaxed about this blog and just write what comes to mind--at least in the beginning. At some point I will consider editing and wording and creativity and entertainment but at least for now it's just going to be whatever.

I have a basic idea that this will be about my journey. One which I started many years ago. About 9 or so. I remember clearly being on my knees in my bedroom at my sister's house and praying and crying to God. I was telling him that I was losing him but I knew that if he was real then he would help me find my way again. That was a very small beginning that led me to many new peaks. It was a chance for me to let go of the traditional and open myself up to new possibilities.

So here I was today, sitting in the kitchen with my husband and having the discussion that I have been waiting for--to create together the life that we choose.
